Field and office working from the same information.

Software that turns drilling, field, and equipment data into one clear picture, from a 3D view of every well to the location of every rig, and gets it to the office quickly, even from sites with poor or no signal.

How I’d approach it

Fit the software to the work, not the other way round.

Field software has to cope with the real world: gloves, glare, dust, and no signal. I design mobile apps that are quick to fill in on site, work fully offline, and sync safely when a connection comes back, without losing or doubling up anything.

In the office, the focus is getting that information where it's needed, fast. Approved tickets go to billing, readings go into reports, and maintenance history is attached to the right piece of equipment.

I build for rugged handhelds and tablets, and can add barcode or RFID tags for tracking equipment.

Drilling data, made visible

See exactly how every well was drilled.

I’ve built 3D drilling visualization that replays how a rig drilled each well, directly from its recorded data. Depth, direction, and drilling parameters are rebuilt into an interactive wellbore, so engineers and managers can review a well in minutes rather than working through raw logs.

Rig locator maps show every rig and well site at a glance, with current status and the latest data a click away. Behind both sit secure APIs that bring drilling data into the rest of your systems, so the same information drives reporting, planning, and billing.

What the software can handle

The everyday work, done properly.

Typical areas I build for. Most projects start with one or two of these and grow from there.

Field data capture

Rugged mobile apps for inspections, readings, and job tickets that work offline and sync later.

Equipment records

Keep the history, maintenance, and documents for every well, pump, vehicle, and tool in one place.

Maintenance planning

Schedule inspections and servicing by date or hours used, and see what's overdue at a glance.

Job tickets & approvals

Turn field tickets into approved, billable records without chasing paper.

Safety & compliance

Record checklists, permits, and incidents with the evidence regulators ask for.

Office system links

Send field data straight into accounting, ERP, and reporting tools.

What it can look like

How a project runs

Three steps, start to finish.

Small, steady steps with something real to look at early, and you involved the whole way through.

  1. 01

    Ride along

Spend time with crews and office staff to see how information gets from site to desk today.

  2. 02

    Build for the field

Create a simple, offline-ready app for the most important task and test it on site.

  3. 03

    Close the loop

Connect field data to billing, maintenance, and reporting so nothing is typed twice.

Let's talk about oil & energy

How long does it take field data to reach your office?

Tell me what’s getting in the way. I’ll give you an honest view of the options, even if the answer is a small fix.
