Tell me what needs to work better.

Tell me what’s going wrong, which systems are involved, and what you’d like to happen instead. I read every message myself and reply personally.

A useful starting point

Context beats a perfect brief.

You don’t need a finished plan or a technical spec. A few lines about what’s happening, why it matters, and what “better” would look like is plenty to start.

Common questions

Good to know before we talk.

If your question isn’t here, include it in your message. I’m happy to answer.

What are your rates?

Every project is different, so I don’t work from a fixed price list. The cost depends on the size and complexity of the work, how urgent it is, and how much consultation and support it needs. I evaluate each project carefully before quoting, so the estimate you receive reflects the actual work involved. The best first step is to tell me about your project. I’ll come back with an honest view of what it involves and what it’s likely to cost.

Do you work with clients outside Canada?

Yes. Most projects run remotely, so location isn’t a barrier. In-person consultations and on-site visits can be arranged as part of the project.

Can you work with the systems we already have?

Usually, yes. Much of my work connects, extends, or improves existing software, databases, and devices rather than replacing them.

What happens after launch?

I support what I build. Whether you need occasional changes or ongoing development, your software keeps pace as your business changes.
